How to Find Us - Directions to Cnoc Ard Self Catering
From Glasgow
From Glasgow and the south the quickest route is to head up the West Coast along the shore of Loch Lomond, passing through Fort William then onto Kyle of Lochalsh.
From Inverness
From Inverness the route would follow the A82 heading for Fort William. However, after about half an hour turn right onto the A887 following signs for Kyle of Lochalsh.
After crossing the Skye Bridge the journey across the island takes about an hour. There is only one main road across the island. Follow this road until you come to Sligachan. At the Sligachan Hotel turn left onto the road to Dunvegan.
Just as you enter Dunvegan, there is a sign for Glendale and you turn left (at a junction with a white church). You then follow this single track road for about 5 miles into Colbost. Once you pass the Three Chimneys restaurant on the left, the cottage is about a mile further along the road.
You will come to a junction where a road turns down to the right and is signposted Borroraig. Go past this junction and stick to the main road. About 50 yards on your left is the property. It is a wooden structure and up a few yards from the road.
Park in the space in front of the house.
