The house is modern and bright and sleeps four people in comfort. It was extended in 2015.
The property is all situated on one level and consists of a hall leading to an open plan kitchen/dining room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. It has retained the high ceilings of the original build and the combination of storage heaters and the new wood burner makes it very warm and cosy if the weather outside takes a turn for the worse.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, fan assisted electric oven and hob. Dishes, cutlery, kitchen utensils, towels, etc are all supplied.
In the extension is the dining table and chairs and an L shaped futon to relax on in front of the wood burner. There is a Hi fi unit with functions for CD’s, radio, USB and Bluetooth connectivity as well as a wall mounted tv and a DVD player. The picture window enjoys an outstanding view across Dunvegan Bay and the outside door leads to a small area of decking.
The double bedroom has a king sized double bed, table and chairs, wardrobes with sliding mirrored doors and a wall mounted tv with DVD player. Games, books, DVD’s etc are kept in this room as well as maps and information about the house and things to do on Skye.
In the twin bedroom are two single beds, chest of drawers and a large walk in cupboard.
The bathroom has a shower, heated towel rail and shaving point.
There is an area for parking in front of the house.
